How we work

  • Every part is printed, checked and packed by us in Birnbach.

  • We sell on Etsy and eBay; ordering, payment and buyer protection are handled by the platform.

  • We sell other designers' models only with a licence that permits the sale.

  • The photos in our listings show our own prints. Scenes that we create from these photos with AI are labelled.

LayerLabs 3D Publisher

LayerLabs 3D Publisher is our in-house social media tool. We use it to publish our own content to our own business accounts on Instagram, TikTok and Pinterest. It shows photos and short videos of our products.

  • The tool prepares posts: image or video, caption, hashtags and the link to the shop.
  • A person on our team reviews and approves every post one by one. Only then is it published at the scheduled time, or on TikTok uploaded as a draft (see below).
  • AI-generated material is labelled as AI-generated when it is published, where the platform offers this.
  • The Publisher signs in only to our own accounts. It is not intended for other people's accounts and does not read other users' data.

TikTok: uploaded as a draft, published by hand

On TikTok, the Publisher uses TikTok's Login Kit and Content Posting API. It does not publish anything there itself; instead it uploads an approved video as a draft to the inbox of our own TikTok account. This is how a post goes:

    Sign-in: We connect our TikTok account to the Publisher once through TikTok (Login Kit) and grant only two permissions: user.info.basic for display name and avatar, so that it is visible which account is connected, and video.upload, to upload videos as drafts.

    Approval: The Publisher presents the video with caption and hashtags in our internal Slack channel. A person on our team reviews it and approves it with ✅.

    Upload: Only after approval does the Publisher upload the video to our account's TikTok inbox.

  4. 4

    Publishing: A person opens the draft in the TikTok app, checks the caption and settings, adds the label for AI material and taps “Post” themselves.

On TikTok, the Publisher does not read videos, comments, followers or statistics.
